Yut Kee Restaurant @ Jalan Dang Wangi

Today Jason recommended us to have lunch at Yut Kee. When we reached, the restaurant is packed. Yut Kee is famous for its Hainanese Chicken Chop. It comes served with lots of onions, fried potatoes and mixed vegetables. Another item to look out is the kaya swiss roll which is display near the cashier counter.

We ordered Roti babi as well. French toasted bread with fillings of mixture of pork, and onions. Personally, I found the Roti babi quite oily.

Pan Heong Restaurant @ Medan Batu Caves

Today I and my colleagues headed over to Batu Caves for lunch. When we reached there, the restaurant is packed with customers. Heard from my colleague, Pan Heong is famous for its Snakehead Porridge with century eggs (生鱼片皮蛋粥) , Kau Yuk Mihun (扣肉米粉), Nam Yu Pork Belly, Steamed Fish Head , Fresh River Prawns with Keoy Teow Noodle (生虾河粉), and Fried Noodle mamak style (Mee Goreng Mamak).

It didn’t take long for our dishes to arrive- Starting with Wat Tan Hor (品香滑旦河), the kuey teow texture is soft and smooth, and full of egg gravy. Fish porridge comes next, the porridge also famous here. We had fish porridge; the porridge is creamy and rich in taste. It was delicious overall. Kau Yuk Mihun and Mamak Style Mee Goreng are other dishes that we ordered which were just so so for me. The final dish is Nam Yu Pork Belly. Crispy and crunchy outside, inside is soft. The price was reasonable.

2010-08-14和朋友们相约去玩PaintBall. 好久没玩了呀!

因为地方蛮偏僻的, 所以全靠GPS才能到达呀! 过程当然是有去错地方了哟.

这次的PaintBall会比上次刺激呢. 那是因为枪支都比较好, 而且子弹充足呀. 足足玩了6箱子弹.

老实说, 这游戏真的是蛮刺激的呢. 而且还很痛. 我就中了11枪. 而且还流血呢! 痛呀!

可是, 玩了后就捉到它的巧妙了. 玩插旗帜的时候, 一开始就要跑到最前面去躲藏. 这样一来, 就蛮大机会可以防止敌人去插旗帜了.

游戏完毕真的是超累的呀! 要好好休息哟!

Anyone interested in Gold investment? Investing gold is another option where you want to diversify your investment portfolio, beside property investment.

As we know, gold is a very precious metal and the price of gold is increasing now and is very stable investment compare to other stock, warrants investment, I can say it is a moderate risk kind of investment. Some people commented the price of gold can drop also, YES. But average price is rising, never dropped. Investment Analyst shared that the gold price increases in an average of 17.8% last year. Gold price increase in 2 situations: Inflation and Political issue (war).

I am sure lot people know about gold investment, but the concern is how we are going to buy for investment? Should I invest in passbook or purchase a physical gold (Kijang emas Gold Billion Coins – MBB).

Currently in Malaysia, Maybank (GSPA) and Public Bank (GIA) offers gold investment in passbook and can withdraw the gold in $ form or convert to physical gold.

I would say it’s a good investment that you can start with the very little amount.

十号胡同 Lot 10 Hutong

I love to browse other people food blog, so I noticed lot blogger recommended this place – Lot 10 Hutong Food Court. So I decided to pay a visit.

If you like to eat street food, you should visit Hutong Lot 10. It is a new food court right in the heart of KL where you can find and try different varieties of hawker food. There are popular food stalls like Kim Lian Kee Hokkien Noodles, Soong Kee Beef Noodles, Ho Weng Kee wantan Noodles, Ipoh Ngah Choy Chicken and etc etc. Beside Chinese cuisines, you can find Thai food, German food as well. Personally, the layout of the food court quite confusing, I need walked around, turned right, left to find the stalls.

I was recommended by food blogger to try the Soong Kee beef noddle. A set of beef noddle mixed beef soup+oily vege+Chinese tea goes for only RM8.90. The noddle comes with minced pork and the beef balls were really good, bouncy like fish balls. MIL ordered clay pot rice, she claimed it was too oily, but overall OK. The price for the food there was high. It costs me about RM7-90 for a glass of pure orange juice.
