Love the design of the restaurant- wooden tables and chairs, especially the paint can lights. The waitress over there very polite and provides a excellent service.

Complimentary breadsticks with salsa for a start. Love their salsa sauce. For drink, I ordered Medidation ( detox Juice), Yoke Ching had ‘Wake Up’ and ‘Forever Young’ for Yoke Yee

Caesar Salad – love this salad, the sauce and egg just perfectly match with the fresh greens vege.

Paella – spicl spanish rice with fresh clams and chicken. The clams were fresh and the flavor of the golden yellow saffron infused rice.. really enjoy!

Rack of Lamb – we went for well done cooked lamb with accompanying potatos and vegetables.

We go for Tiramisu and Chocolate Moosse cake as our desserts

Overall, it is a relaxed atmosphere to sit for hours and coupled with some wonderful food

We headed to one of the famous HK noddles shop, 佳佳粉麵店( 港式車仔麵) and had our breakfast. The noodles shop located at Tai Kok Tsui, Mongkok Area. It was recommended by my colleague. Overall the noddles were nice, tasty.

After the breakfast, we took a train from Mongkok MTR Station to Lai King to change Tung Chung Line, and then we stopped at Tung Chung MTR Station. Reached Tung Chung station, find exit B and you’ll see the huge Citigate Outlet front of you, walked past the mall and there is the entrance for the cable car terminal.

We purchased the Single Trip for Standard Cabin Car which costs HKD80 for adults and HKD41. Each cable car can fit up to 17 pax (10 sitting and 7 standing) but 7 of us occupied the whole cabin car. This is the longest cable car ride about 5.7km. My In Law afraid of heights and felt scary during the whole journey. From the cabin car, we had the opportunity to view the scene of lantau Island, Giant Buddha from far, and also Hong Kong International Airport. It was awesome!

Reached Ngong Ping Village, heavy rain again! Damn bad luck! So we decided to have dessert at the Honeymoon Dessert House to escape from the rain. Ngong Ping Village provides its tourists with a diverse array of western and eastern food. We didn’t really have much chance to explore Ngong Ping Village due to raining. We walked to the Giant Buddha under the rain. To reach the Buddha statue, you have to climb 268 steps up the long flights of stairs. Benny and parents did climb up those stairs except me. Because I need to take care Chloe .. Her Milk time!

Our next stop will be Tai-O Fishing Village, which is just across a river from Lantau Island. We took bus No 21 from Ngong Ping Village to Tai-O Village. Upon arriving at Tai-O, we take a short walk to the docks where boats depart regularly to go dolphin spotting (famous Chinese white dolphins). It costs HKD20 per person. After the ride, we walked to the village, numerous shops sell dried fish, fish products, and some tourists souvenirs. We had lunch at one of seafood restaurants here.

We took a bus ride back to Tung Chung station, Citigate about 5pm. This is what a girl’s gotta do – SHOPPING! Spend 2 hours inside the mall, various outlets holding much designer fashion, shoes-wear, children wear and others.  Bought a Coach wallet for my mother, and shirt from Ralph Lauren for Hubby while I went home empty handed.

Took MTR from Tung Chung to Mongkok. Backed to the hotel, Hubby and Chloe were too tired and took a nap. So I took the opportunity to shop at the nearest H&M outlet J , bought a nice pair of earrings from Agatha outlet. We ended the night having a late dinner and again, shopped at Mongkok Ladies Street night market.
